Speed Accuracy: +/- 1 mph (+/- 2 kph)

Jam Codes

JA-1, JA-2, JA-3 in HUD (indicates potential jamming)

Jammer1, Jammer2, Jammer3 on LCD (indicates that a jammer is positively detected)

Laser Atlanta has taken jammer detection a step further by identifying the "type" of jammer. Jammer detection on the Laser Atlantas is a relatively new feature. Guns produced up until July 2005 did not utilize JAM codes. Guns produced after July 2005 should have this feature, and Laser Atlanta can update the software in older guns to add this feature. Reportedly, since this feature is so new, most jammer companies have yet to react. Most jammers probably cause jam codes on Laser Atlanta guns which have this feature.

Notes

There are three types of Laser Atlanta Speedlasers: Type R (rugged) and Type S (small) and Type B (binocular). Only the case is different between them: the electronics are basically identical. The unit shown in the photos above is the Type S.

Stealth Mode

The Laser Atlantas have a special mode available called "Stealth Mode" that was designed to defeat laser jammers and detectors. However, since Stealth Mode's introduction, many jammer companies have added Stealth Mode jamming capability to their products.
